First, I want to say that I hope all that read this had a wonderful weekend. It has been cloudy and rainy around here lately but I think the sun is trying to shine today.
It’s Monday, the beginning of another work-week for many of you out there and it’s also time for me to get busy on the magazine. The new issue is due out later this week. If you’ve never visited our magazine I hope you’ll take the time to do that soon. http://www.TheChristianOnlineMagazine.Com
I wrote an article for our July issue and it seems to have caused quite a stir on the net. The title of the article is, Has God Changed His Mind About Homosexuality? I have received hate mail from those who don’t agree with me but I have also received letters of support from those who do agree with me. What I wrote came straight from the Bible. One email I got from the opposing side wasn't very kind. But hey, I count it all joy.
Did you know that many believe they can be a Christian, go to church, and live in a gay lifestyle all at the same time because everyone is going to Heaven in the end anyway? I say to those that believe that, oh really? Well then tell me what this scripture means? 1st Corinthians 6:9 says, Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind. Verse 10, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. Also read Galatians 5:19-21. Be sure to read Romans Chapter 1.
Listen folks, gay people need to be saved just as much as the drunk down the road needs to be saved. And if they are going to call themselves Christians, they need to turn away from the gay lifestyle. There is no sugar coating this thing. And that is what is scaring me the most. Many are sugar coating it! Many pastors are saying, come to our church where it's okay to be gay. Well, don't believe it. It may be okay to be a gay Christian in the world's eyes but it's not okay in God's eyes.
To the gays who are really wanting to know the truth. Please accept Jesus as your personal Savior. Receive Him into your hearts by faith and read His Word for yourself. God loves you! But he wants you to follow His commandments and not the commandments of men.
There is no gay bashing here. Only the truth being told. It's all in the Bible.

Nicely written, my friend. Those who would argue the fact are still blinded by satan ... so we need to pray for their eyes to be able to see, their ears be able to hear the Word of God. Sigh. Something stuck out ... tell me what this means: "...abusers of themselves with mankind." I guess I could pull out my Matthew Henry and check it out, but this is so much easier. ((smile))

DARLENE: With original research, prove that homosexuality is not Biblical. It appears that you have been listening to ministers who parrot what they learned from teachers who parrot what they learned even though the information has not been examined with experts who have examined the Bible from knowledge of original language meaning and context. You expect me to just take what you say as absolute truth. We should not accept blindly what any religious leader tells us. We must seperate from that condition and determine for ourselves what is Biblical truth.

First of all, you say for me to do my own research then you turn right around and say, and I quote you, "you expect me to take what you say as absolute truth?" That is double talk.
However, I have done my own research. But I will tell you that true Christians are preaching the same thing so you may as well get used to reading it over and over again.
Allow me to reiterate what I said in my article.
There’s no bible evidence that God was ever okay with the gay lifestyle. In fact, in the Old Testament in the book of Leviticus Chapter 18 verse 22 it says it is an abomination.
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind; it is abomination.
You can't give me one single scripture where God says homosexuality is not a sin. You can't do it because its not in the Book!

Neither can you give me a scripture where it says it is a sin because:
-There is no word in the original languages for homosexuality so you are just reading into the scriptures what you want them to say. This is exactly what a certain false cult does to say that we should not get a blood transfusion.
-Jesus Christ himself did not say anything for or against homosexuality. If it was such a terrible sin as you people say it is, why wasn't he speaking out long and loud about it? He spoke out against many sins so I don't think that he was being absent minded. So if Jesus did not make an issue about homosexuality, why do you?

What do you think the word
Effeminate means? It is found in 1st Corinthians 6:9
Also, If God's Word doesn't say anything about homosexuality then what does Romans 1:27 mean?
